"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."- Proverbs 15:1 (NKJV) We need to be careful of the tone we use when speaking with others. We can often calm down an angry person by just speaking softly and giving them our full attention. In the same way, we can push an angry person "over the edge" if we meet their anger with loud, angry words of our own. As children of God, we need to try for the best outcome possible in every situation.

"Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law."- Romans 3:31 (NKJV) The "law" of Christ was established when He went to the cross for our sins. If we have faith that He is who He says He is, then we should abide by the principles that He set forth. We are not bound by the Mosaic law but by the law of faith that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. Obedience to that law is out of love and not out of fear. We love the Lord, therefore we live our lives in a way that will be pleasing to Him.

"Can two walk, together unless they are agreed?"- Amos 3:3 (NKJV) It's difficult to have true fellowship with someone who has the total opposite views that you have. As humans, we tend to spend time with people who sees things a lot like we do. We listen to others' view points and try to understand differing opinions from ours, but at the end of the day, we gravitate toward those who see things similar to ourselves. In our walk with the Lord, we need to walk with those who are on the same journey as we are. "Follow me as I follow Christ", should be our statement and pointing others to Jesus should be our mission.
