“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”-Luke 6:45 (NKJV) We may think we can hide the not-so-pleasant things in our lives from other people, but God sees it all. The bad things never stay hidden for long. Try as you might, the things that are in your heart will eventually come out of your mouth. Keep your walk righteous before the Lord so that whatever comes out will build up and never tear down.

““For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.” Luke 6:43-44 (NKJV) We should be aware of the fruit that we are bearing. Are we bearing good fruit such as love, mercy, peace, forgiveness, etc.? Or are we bearing the bad fruit of hate, unforgiveness, malice, envy, etc.? People will know us by our fruit, so be sure that you are bearing the kind to draw them to Jesus.

“And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.”- Luke 6:19 (NKJV) Everything we need is found in the person of Jesus Christ. Whether we need a physical healing, emotional healing, financial help, guidance, or strength it can all be found in Him. All we need to do is reach out and touch Him in prayer and He will meet the need.
